Consultation
Every new client will receive a 30-minute private consultation with Dr. Kim. This is your time to discuss your expectations and concerns regarding your desired plastic surgery procedure. Dr. Kim will ask you questions that are relevant to the desired procedure, as well as background medical history.
During this candid discussion, Dr. Kim will assess your needs and draw on his experience to customize a solution specifically for you. He will also detail a realistic view of the anticipated outcome. Dr. Kim strongly believes that patient satisfaction is intricately tied to that individual’s complete understanding of the results each procedure can provide.
It is Dr. Kim’s goal to ensure that you receive appropriate information and education about your plastic surgery options so that your expectations are appropriate for the procedure and in line with the anticipated results.
Anesthesiologists
All anesthesiology services are provided by skilled physicians of the Associated Anesthesiologists Medical Group—professional, board certified anesthesiologists working out of Stanford University Hospital. The AAMG physician is present from the preoperative room and throughout the entire surgery, until the patient is safely transferred to the recovery room after waking from anesthesia. They are very caring and have an excellent record of patient safety.
Surgical Suite
Dr. Kim performs all surgical cosmetic procedures at the Plastic Surgery Center (PSC) across the courtyard from his offices. The PSC is a state-of -the-art operating facility accredited by American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF). The Center is certified and licensed, meeting the most stringent requirements for patient safety and care. The center is staffed by Registered Nurses and licensed Surgical Technicians who are specialists in cosmetic plastic surgery procedures. These are dedicated, trusted professionals Dr. Kim has been working with for many years.
