Dysport is a prescription injection that temporarily improves the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (known as glabellar lines) in adults less than 65 years of age. Untreated muscles still work normally, creating a natural, not frozen look.

How it works

With just one injection into each of 5 points between and above the eyebrows, Dysport stops the signal from the nerve to the muscles, ultimately resulting in a reduction of muscle activity and temporarily preventing contraction of the muscles that cause frown lines. The untreated facial muscles still contract normally, allowing you to freely show facial expressions in untreated areas.

Good for

Smoothing the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows, lines in the forehead and wrinkles about the eyes without changing the look or movement of the rest of your face. With just one treatment, Dysport may help improve the look of lines and wrinkles about the face.

Recovery Time

Normal activities can be resumed immediately after treatment. Just like any injection, you may experience mild irritation, swelling, itching, redness, bruising, or tenderness at the injection site. These side effects typically resolve on their own.
